ESBRI has been an essential partner to the Diana Project's ability to advance knowledge about women's entrepreneurship in many countries around the world."
GEM (Global Entrepreneurship Monitor) was initiated 1997 by Babson College and London Business School. ESBRI is responsible for the Swedish part of GEM.
The project is long-term and helps us understand the relationship between entrepreneurship and national economic growth. GEM is the largest single study of entrepreneurial activity in the world.
New countries are added continuously. In the year 2008, the entrepreneurial activities were examined in 43 countries.
