69 theses on innovation, commercialization and utilization competed in Nytt&Nyttigt 2014-2015. On November 17, the winners were announced. First prize, and a 30 000 SEK travel grant, went to Jana Wenzlaff and Aakriti Singh who wrote the thesis "Leadership in Open Innovation: An exploratory study on the nature of R&D projects and predominant leadership characteristics in industry-academia collaborations". From idea to business

Fall in love with the problem, not one specific solution. Framestorming before brainstorming. And there is a grain of sense even in the craziest ideas. Those were some of the messages delivered by Stanford Professor Tina Seelig at ESBRI's Estrad on September 7. During her lecture, "From Inspiration to Implementation – How to bring your ideas to life", she presented her model – The Invention Cycle. It describes how imagination leads to creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, and Seelig talked about how to make the most of your ideas. The lecture is available as web-tv. Read more
