Visa

If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU, you will in most cases need a visa to visit Sweden. Find out how to apply at the Swedish Migration Board. With your application, you may have to enclose a letter of invitation from ESBRI, the organisation arranging the conference. Download the invitation letter.

Travel and tourism

There is plenty to see and do in Stockholm. Take the chance to explore Sweden’s capital for a couple of days. Visit Stockholm has all the information you need. SL (Stockholm public transport) can help you get around.

If you’re planning on seeing more of Sweden, Visit Sweden is a good place to start.

Weather

Stockholm is a beautiful city by the water which can be sunny and warm in June – or, frankly, quite chilly and rainy! Wikipedia has a climate chart.
