Name: Anita Sant'Anna
Background: I come from a small island in the south of Brazil called Florianopolis. I have a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and I am currently a PhD student at Halmstad University, Sweden. I am interested in all aspects of biomedical engineering, and my main research area is signal processing. Currently, I am investigating new approaches to clinical movement analysis using wearable accelerometer sensors.
Why did you apply for this course?
I applied for the course because I believe my research work will generate
useful tools for better clinical assessment. I would like to see those tools being used in real life and I think this course will help me achieve that.
What have you learned so far that surprised you?
I was gladly surprised to find out that this will be a very practical course,
which will make us question ourselves and our goals. Instead of only
providing us with theoretical knowledge about business.
How do you think this course will help you develop your idea?
I imagine this course will help me identify the best business opportunities and how to successfully infiltrate the market.
Would you recommend other to take this course, in that case why?
I would certainly recommend this course to other people. I think it’s a great
opportunity to meet interesting people and make things happen!
